Big East Lake, Ontario - Gerald Parker

Gerald Parker shares his Watermark on Big East Lake in the Haliburton Highlands.
Since emigrating to Canada as a young boy, Gerald has paddled the Algonquins, the Haliburton Highlands, and across Ontario. Each summer, he and his family would paddle these waters. They found a place, a special place, a place they call "The Big Easy" (Big East Lake) in the Haliburton Highlands. Gerald's Watermark moment is in a place in this country where we all paddle together, on the same stream, going the same place. "Together, we swim, we drink, and we fish," states Gerald.
